Spartans have the unique and uncommon will to imagine and create a better world for all. This differentiator is the basis for the official tagline of Michigan State University: Spartans Will.
As a graphic designer for MSU—as well as a Spartan myself—I had the distinct role of creating brand-aligned content for all social platforms, from ideation to execution. By using my own experiences as a student, like walking an extra quarter mile to class to snap a photo of Beaumont Tower, while working with the Communications and Brand Strategy team, I was able to produce a collection of social content that drove enthusiasm and nostalgia for the Spartan experience among students and alumni alike.
Across a growing digital audience of over 1.5 million, my work for Michigan State University has received an average of over 80,000 impressions and 4,900 engagements.
